Having a second chance in life is an opportunity not to be missed. That is why my office is offering this Sealing and Expungement Program. If you were charged with a crime in Miami-Dade County and the case did not result in a conviction, you may be eligible to have a single record sealed or expunged.
Have you ever asked yourself:

- When am I required to acknowledge sealing or expungement?

We are here to answer these and other questions. For those who qualify we assist with processing the application for submission to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. If you do not qualify for Sealing or Expungement, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Parole Commission will be present to assist with restoring your civil rights.
Although it is highly recommended that you file a police report when you are the victim of a crime, our office may still take a sworn statement from you if you have other sufficient evidence to provide us with. Without a police report, the chance of your case being filed are greatly reduced.
You have the right to say "NO" to an interview. Never feel that because you have unwillingly been involved in an incident of public interest that you must personally share the details and or your feelings with the general public via the media. By knowing and requesting respect for your rights, you can be heard and yet not violated.
