TITLE: PROCESS SERVER III
Victim Witness Services Unit
An immediate position is available for a Process Server III in the Victim Witness Services Unit. The primary responsibilities are to serve subpoenas and court summons to various addresses throughout Miami-Dade County. The secondary responsibility of this position is to locate witnesses who have moved, and/or are avoiding participating in the felony criminal court system. The working hours for this position will either be 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. with a possible Saturday rotation, and therefore, candidates must be flexible with their work schedule.
The minimum qualifications for these positions are:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Three (3) years of law enforcement investigation or related work experience
- Valid Florida Drivers’ License
- Excellent driving record
- Bilingual (English/Creole) or (English/Spanish) is preferred
Candidates must have knowledge of the geographical lay-out of Miami-Dade County and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. In addition, preference may be given to candidates familiar with police communications.
Starting Annual Salary: $26,378.28
