TITLE: INTAKE CLERK II

Felony Screening Unit – Case Screening Unit

An immediate Day shift position is available for an Intake Clerk II in the FSU-Case Screening Unit. The regular work hours will be 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM but may occasionally be adjusted to meet the needs of the unit. This position requires working weekends and holidays and days off will rotate from month to month. A benefit of this shift is that the rotation schedule results in a four (4) day weekend every other month. This position is responsible for preparing daily bond hearing calendars and creating new cases in HYDRA. Duties include a high volume of research and data entry and extensive telephone interaction with police officers who have made probable cause arrests. In addition, this position requires the use of secured and confidential databases which will be utilized to obtain criminal history records, civilian witness addresses, and police officers’ work schedules.

Minimum requirements are:

  • A High School diploma or its equivalent,
  • Two years (2) of secretarial or clerical experience,
  • Type a minimum of 25 accurate words per minute, and
  • Computer Literate

Candidates must be very detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality and accuracy. Candidates must also be self-reliant and able to identify, analyze and solve problems independently.

Annual salary: $23,221.08
