Victim Witness Process Server Unit/ Expedited Intake System (E.I.S.)

An immediate position is available for an Intake Clerk II position assigned to the Victim Witness Process Server Unit/Expedited Intake System (E.I.S.) This position will be responsible for receiving and logging Subpoena Duces Tecum requests and outcomes of service using an excel spreadsheet; notifying appropriate process servers of request based on zip code assignment as well as returning original document to various departments; assisting the process servers with locating addresses by using Google Maps or MapQuest; processing monthly vehicle inspection reports; and assisting the unit paralegals with data entry and personal service statistics. Additional duties include answering telephone calls; responding to incoming email communications on behalf of the unit; and archiving correspondence, reports and notifications. The schedule for this position will be: 8:30am-5:00pm.

Minimum requirements are:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Two (2) years of clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of experience
  • Must type a minimum of 20 accurate words per minute,
  • Must be proficient with Excel
  • Must successfully pass a Skills Test

Candidates must be detail-oriented, be able to identify, analyze and solve problems independently, work effectively under time constraints and be adaptable to change. Candidates must be able to effectively work with various levels of staff and have very good verbal communication skills.

Starting Annual Salary: $23,221.08
