Children’s and Special Needs Unit – Kristi House

An immediate position is available for an Intake Clerk II/ Video Technician in the Children’s and Special Needs Unit.  This position requires operating video equipment that is used to record all interviews and depositions within the unit: Securing, labeling reproducing and cataloging video recordings as needed for evidentiary purposes. Additional responsibilities include utilizing the Application Development System (ADS) program to input data on new cases coming in to the unit, sustaining a filing system, compiling statistical data for the unit and maintaining a calendar of weekly appointments. Additionally, the Candidate will have high volume telephone contact with outside agencies seeking assistance with coordinating scheduled appointments.  This position also requires attending court when needed as custodian of the records for the recordings, keeping maintenance record of video equipment and providing community resource information when applicable. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Minimum requirements are:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Two (2) years of clerical or general office experience,
  • Must be computer literate
  • Preference may be given to candidates who have knowledge of operating video equipment

Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and provide back up to the additional intake clerk as needed.

Candidate must work effectively under pressure and work well with all levels of staff and outside agencies. Preference may also be given to candidates who are bilingual (English/Spanish).

Yearly Salary Range:  $23,221.08
