Case Analyst
Annual Salary: $26,626.32

There are various full-time, entry level Case Analyst positions in our Child Support Enforcement Division, developing and enforcing child support orders. Some require heavy phone and public contact working in a Call Center or conducting client interviews; others require detailed work with financial accounts, charges, collections, and disbursements, or assessing case information to determine next appropriate action; all require extensive computer work. We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals with strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills.

Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education and related work experience. Preference may be given to applicants who are bilingual in English and Spanish. A test will be given to assess analytical, mathematical, and written skills.

Legal Secretary II
Annual Salary: $27,626.28

Immediate positions are available in the Legal Court Unit of the Child Support Enforcement Division. This position requires secretarial work of a complex and confidential nature. The secretary will be responsible for generating court orders as court hearings are in session and ensuring all of the court orders are accounted for at the end of the day.

Candidate must work effectively under pressure and be adaptable to change. This position requires an individual who can produce a high volume of work in a fast paced courtroom environment. Candidate must have experience with personal computers and must type a minimum of 35 accurate words per minute. Three years of secretarial, or general clerical experience required (one year of which must be as a secretary). CLERICAL TEST REQUIRED.

LEGAL SECRETARY II - Sexual Violent
Predator Unit
Annual Salary: $26,378.28

An immediate position is available for a Legal Secretary II position in the Sexual Violent Predator Unit. Duties will include routine secretarial and trial coordination tasks such as witness availability, processing subpoenas and mail, running priors and researching case information. Duties specific to this particular specialized position also include: case set up and maintenance of civil confinement cases; and maintaining a calendar of appointments, depositions, hearings and due dates for notices. Additional duties include preparing court reporting and expert witness invoices, travel arrangements, heavy telephone contact and assisting unit paralegal when necessary.

Candidate must possess excellent organizational skills, work independently and effectively under pressure, be able to meet deadlines and be adaptable to change. Candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years secretarial experience, one (1) year of which must be as a secretary, and type 30 accurate words per minute. Experience in processing civil cases is also preferred.

Clerk V
Annual Salary: $21,861.12

This is a full-time position working for the Child Support Enforcement Division, in our Records Unit. Duties include filing, maintaining and moving case file boxes. Candidates must be able to consistently lift 40 pounds or more. Position also requires considerable walking and the use of a ladder to retrieve files and heavy boxes and general clerical duties. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma, or its equivalent, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a minimum of 1 year of clerical experience. Knowledge of the computer is helpful. Minimum typing requirement is 20 accurate words per minute. CLERICAL TEST REQUIRED.

Information Processing Operator
(part-time)
Annual Salary: $11,610.54

An immediate position is available for an Information Processing Operator I in the Case Processing Center. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week (from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm), whose responsibilities include monitoring and tracking incoming and outgoing work, typing, proofing and setting up files in preparation of Arraignment Hearings.

Candidates must have knowledge of computer system or word processing experience. Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma, or its equivalent, good communication and interpersonal skills, and a minimum of 2 years of clerical experience. Minimum typing requirement is 25 accurate words per minute. CLERICAL TEST REQUIRED.
